Edinburgh Review: Living Room

If Martians played jazz, it might sound something like this. Playing the bass clarinet and the hang (a percussion instrument that looks like a steel drum made by an alien), this Austrian duo play a truly unique, minimalist kind of music. Gentle and playful, innocent and creative, listening to them play is like taking a warm bath in ambient music, but after a time I found myself craving for something a little more profound. The feel of the music vanishes like a dream as soon as you have left the gig, but Living Room offer a relaxing musical interlude from the manic energy of the Festival. The perfect choice for music lovers looking to relax in the afternoon.
